Scope/Description:

Launched in 1986 Journal of Medical Biomechanics changed to its present name in 1992. The journal is sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and supervised by the Ministry of Education of Peoples Republic of China. It is the only academic journal openly published in China that actively reflects the basic researches and application results in medical biomechanics aiming at promoting international academic exchanges and mutual understanding and cooperation of medicine science and engineering disciplines. The journal mainly publishes research papers on medical biomechanics including solid mechanics fluid mechanics rheology and sports biomechanics.
