WILDLIFE BIOLOGY (Wildl. Biol.) (ISSN 0909-6396) was initiated in 1994 by the Nordic Council for Wildlife Research (NKV) and is published four times a year (March, June, September and December). The journal encourages and welcomes original papers, short communications and review articles, written in English and dealing with both theoretical, empirical and practical studies from throughout the world. The journal accepts papers of high standard from all areas of wildlife science with the primary task of creating the scientific basis for the enhancement of conservation and management practices for wildlife species and their environments.
