Scope/Description:

The historical culture magazine Tuna Past in English has been issued since 1998. The journal is issued by the National Archives with the support of Estonian Cultural Endowment and in cooperation with Tallinn City Archives and the Association of Estonian Archivists. Four issues are published every year. An essay three to five longer articles are written mainly by historians but also literary historians and cultural historians the description of new documents with comments a series of reviews and overviews are published as well as the photos of the Film Archives please the eye in every issue. In addition to the main issue should the possibility arise special issues in a foreign language are published. So far issues in Russian and English have been published.The journal is peerreviewed. Articles submitted for publication are considered by the Editorial Board and then forwarded to two anonymous peer reviewers. Articles must receive positive reviews from both readers in order to be published.
