Scope/Description:

Since 1960 the IES has been publishing the journal Razprave in gradivoTreatises and Documents. As the only Slovene specialized journal for ethnic issues it publishes articles by Slovene and foreign experts. Summaries are published in English or another world language. So far 80 issues have been published the journal did not appear between 1967 and 1973 and number 22 was not published.The editors welcome the submission of articles in the field of ethnic and minority studies especially on racial and ethnic relations ethnic identity nationalism xenophobia protection of ethnic national linguistic religious and other minorities migration multiculturalism and related subjects. The journal is particularly interested in discussions regarding ethnic and minority issues in the socalled AlpineAdriatic Panonnian area and all comparative studies which includeonly partially or as a wholethis geographic area.All papers are subject to a double blind review procedure.Two issues of the journal are published every year usually in June and December.
