Scope/Description:

Increasing legal integration and interdependency places comparative studies at the heart of legal analysis. Research identifying the converging elements and principles in view of a common legal culture of diversity is necessary. This is particularly true for its territorial and sociocultural dimensions as these regard the organization of livingtogether. Regarding territorial diversity the interaction of multiple levels of government in addressing complex governance issues and its regulation is of utmost interest. Comparative federal and autonomy studies shall explore theoretical perspectives and foundations as well as specific policy areas exploring in depth pluralistic governance and decisionmaking. Social and cultural diversity implies a modern understanding of the accommodation of multiple groups claims sharing the same territory. Going beyond traditional studies on minorities and their rights new challenges in the accommodation of differences have to be addressed including the accommodation of nontraditional forms of diversity. Moreover often the same instruments can be used for the management of territorial as well as for social and cultural diversities. While privileging a comparative constitutional approach the series faces new methodological demands and includes transdisciplinary studies in order to meet the contemporary challenge of diversity in an integrated legal space in Europe and beyond.

Impact Factor

Impact factor (IF) is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. Find out more: What is a good impact factor?

III. Other Science Influence Indicators

Any impact factor or scientometric indicator alone will not give you the full picture of a science journal. There are also other factors such as H-Index, Self-Citation Ratio, SJR, SNIP, etc. Researchers may also consider the practical aspect of a journal such as publication fees, acceptance rate, review speed. H-Index

The h-index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar. The index is based on the set of the scientist's most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications
