Scope/Description:

The major aim of Acta Petrolei Sinica is to report the original achievements and the latest development in petroleum industry at home and abroad. The journal provides three regular columns including Petroleum exploration Oil field development and Petroleum engineering. The papers come from home and abroad. The contents of the papers cover oilgas geology geophysical exploration resources assessment reservoir engineering field development and production drilling and production engineering petrochemicals oilgas storage and transportation petroleum machinery etc. All submitted papers have to be reviewed by many famous petroleum scientists and researchers in China. The acceptance rate of papers is only about 18 in 2007. The strict peerreview procedure guarantees the academic level and raises the reputation of the journal. Among the accepted papers more than 90 are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China National HighTech Research and Development Program of China863 Program National Basic Research Program 973 Program and the Key National High Technology Project of China.
