Es el rgano de divulgacin oficial de la Divisin de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad del Norte Barranquilla Colombia. Tiene como propsito la publicacin de investigaciones realizadas en el campo de la salud en general que se realizan a nivel local regional nacional e internacional y que abordan problemas relacionados con las necesidades prioritarias en salud y el avance de la ciencia y la tecnologa. Siendo estos artculos de tipo original revisin descripcin de casos clnicos y artculos especiales que se consideren del mbito de la revista en medicina clnica y ciencias biomdica. Se publica de manera cuatrimestral.La revista Salud Uninorte acepta trabajos originales e inditos que no hayan sido publicados parcial o totalmente en formato impreso o electrnico ni que estn sometidos a publicacin en ningn otro medio. En caso de que el mismo trabajo o una versin similar hayan sido publicados anteriormente en formato impreso o en la web es obligacin de los autores darlo a conocer al Comit Editorial en la carta de presentacin de su trabajo y anexar una copia de lo publicado anteriormente.
