Din 2017 pn n prezent revista Transilvania este editat de ctre Complexul Naional Muzeal ASTRA.Dat fiind caracterul ei tiinific inter i transdisciplinar revista beneficiaz de recunoatere la categoria B n urma evalurii naionale a Consiliului Naional al Cercetrii tiinifice din 2011 fiind una dintre cele patru reviste naionale acreditate la aceast nalt categorie.n Transilvania sunt publicate studii i articole cu caracter tiinific i recenzii din domenii variate innd de Humanitiesprecum tiinele literaturii istoria gndirii sociale economice culturale i politice filosofie religie.
