La Revista Cubana de Salud Pblica RCSP es una publicacin peridica continuacin de la Revista Cubana de Administracin de Salud 19751987 del Boletn y Archivos del Ateneo Juan Csar Garca 19932000 y de la Revista Cubana de Nutricin e Higiene de los Alimentos 19872002.La RCSP define su misin como una publicacin cientfica de reflexin y debate crtico acerca de aspectos tericos y prcticos de la salud pblica contempornea as como un vehculo informativo del desarrollo del pensamiento y la tradicin de la salud pblica cubana.A su vez la visin que anima a la publicacin es la de constituir un rgano de consulta con enfoque cientfico y crtico de la salud pblica contempornea y un referente obligado para conocer el pensamiento y la prctica salubrista cubana.La RCSP ofrece la oportunidad a profesionales del campo de la salud y afines de publicar sujeto a un proceso de arbitraje por expertos los resultados de sus investigaciones las reflexiones de la salud pblica sobre tendencias polticas econmicas sociales epidemiolgicas u otras y revisiones de temas de acuerdo con el perfil de la revista. No limitamos la autora a nacionales cubanos. Nuestras pginas son tribuna abierta a todo esfuerzo por la defensa y mejoramiento de la salud de los pueblos. Es propsito tambin de la RCSP promover la salud contribuir a la prevencin de enfermedades y lesiones y al mejor manejo de la atencin a enfermos y lesionados a la prolongacin de la vida y al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de individuos y colectivos humanos
