La Revista Colombiana de Gastroenterologa creada en julio de 1985 inici su circulacin ininterrumpida en 1986 y fue aprobada mediante Resolucin del Ministerio de gobierno No. 001940 de Junio 4 de 1987 con ISSN 01209957. Es la publicacin oficial de la Asociacin Colombiana de Gastroenterologa antes Sociedad Colombiana de Gastroenterologa y recibe la colaboracin de las Asociaciones Colombianas de Endoscopia digestiva Hepatologa y Coloproctologa. Su circulacin es trimestral publicndose en los meses de marzo junio septiembre y diciembre.La Revista Colombiana de Gastroenterologa publica estudios bsicos y clnicos de todos los temas en gastroenterologa endoscopia digestiva hepatologa y coloproctologa. Los tipos de artculos que publica incluyen artculos originales e inditos artculos de revisin estudios observacionales de alta calidad y series de casos novedosos. Est dirigida a profesionales especialistas y estudiantes relacionados con las especialidades mencionadas anteriormente.
