Created in 2003 Brazilian Journal of Occupational Medicine Revista Brasileira de Medicina do TrabalhoRBMT is the official trimestral publication of National Association of Occupational Medicine Associao Nacional de Medicina do TrabalhoANAMT founded in 1968. As a function of the broad scope and complexity of Occupational Medicinein its interface with related medical specialties on the one hand and with other fields devoted to the workers health and prevention of the dangers and hazards associated with productive processes on the otherRBMT is an open channel for members of the scientific community to publish original research systematic reviews reflections and theoreticalconceptual contributions clinical cases of pedagogic interest and examples of successful practices. The overall aim is for the benefits of these contributions to exert positive impact on the improvement of work conditions and environments and of the workers quality of life and health.
