The Philobiblon journal offers a multidisciplinary framework for academic manifestations and communication for researchers from Romanian and foreign universities whose fields of research involve books and the role of written culture in the history of civilization. It is also a forum where ideas historical political social and cultural that determined and influenced changes in society are problematized through a constructive and significant reading or interpretation. Philobiblon is an open and dynamic space for researches that bring a productive multidisciplinary contribution to the knowledge and analysis of the vast field of books and culture in general being in a continuous process of reassessment in relation with todays information society.
