The Pacific Rim International Journal of Nursing Research PRIJNR is an English language double blind peerreviewed quarterly publication and the official journal of the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council. It publishes original manuscripts on nursing research literature reviews policy or concept analysis and other scholarly papers that are evidencebased and contribute to nursing knowledge health improvement of populations and development of the profession. Articles published reflect the uniqueness of various sociocultural and spiritual contexts of research participants researchers and health institutions especially those from the Pacific Rim Region. Such publications include the role of religious beliefs values and attitudes eastern wisdom and cultural practices relating to health healing and nursing. The Journal addresses important research in health promotion and disease prevention management of acute and critical illness improving quality of life of persons with chronic illness and at the endoflife as well as innovations in nursing practice.
