Scope/Description:

The scope of the journal is research and development in nuclear engineering, energy systems, radiation, and radiological protection. Topics in nuclear engineering include the design, operation, safety and economics of nuclear power stations, research reactors, simulators and their components as well as the complete fuel cycle. Radiation means the application of ionizing radiation in industry, medicine and research. Topics in radiological protection cover biological effects of ionizing radiation, the system of protection for occupational, medical and public exposures, the assessment of doses, operational protection and safety programmes, management of radioactive wastes, decommissioning and regulatory requirements. The articles are published almost exclusively in English.
