The Italian Journal of Planning Practice IJPPis an open access brand new journal which aims at establishing a source for information on Italian planning practice. IJPP adheres to the BOAI definition of open access and all users have the right to read download copy distribute print search or link to the full texts of these articles.The journal is concerned with encouraging reflections and disseminating knowledge and research on the peculiar characteristics of Italian planning practice and policy all across the world to the widest possible readership. IJPP also considers comparative case studies of fundamental importance for the understanding of planning practices.IJPP is conceived for all Italian and international critical academics researchers professionals and students who wish to keep update with the evolution of the planning discipline in Italy and to contribute to the spreading of scientific research through their work.IJPP emphasizes results of analytical research in a range of topics within the general field of town and regional planning and attempts to draw attention to the practical nature of problems.
