Une revue qui adresse à une audience internationale de chercheurs en paléontologie. La revue publie en anglais ou en français des articles originaux intérêt international consacrés à la paléontologie générale mais aussi à la paléobiologie, la stratigraphie, la biostratigraphie, la paléogéographie et la paléoécologie. Depuis 2000, Geobios est le organe officiel expression de Association Européenne de Paléontologie, EPA (European Paleontological Association). Ses articles proviennent ainsi de ensemble de la communauté internationale, avec un nombre croissant de auteurs et de lecteurs.
