Gastroenterology and Hepatology is the official peer reviewed journal of the Czech Society of Gastroenterology the Slovak Society of Gastroenterology and the Slovak Hepatological Society published by the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyn at the Care Comm publishing house. It comes out 6x a year. Papers are published in Czech Slovak and English. The journal has been published since 1999 its previous name was Czech and Slovak Gastroenterology and Hepatology ISSN 1213323X.
