ENTOMOTROPICA es una publicacin seriada de carcter cientfico que se publica cuatrimestralmente en los meses de abril agosto y diciembre. Se publican trabajos relacionados con la fauna entomolgica neotropical siguiendo un concepto amplio de entomologa que incluye Parainsecta Collembola etc. pero tambin arcnidos y miripodos. ENTOMOTROPICA publica los siguientes tipos de trabajosForos. Discusiones realizadas por un grupo de especialistas o expertos para analizar los diferentes aspectos de un tema aclarar controversias o tratar de resolver problemas deinters sobre temas relacionados con la entomologa.Artculos Cientficos. Documentos que describen los resultados originales de investigaciones y que no han sido previamente publicados en otros medios divulgativos.Notas. Breves descripciones de tcnicas o equipos novedosos registros faunsticos migraciones hospederos nuevos y otros temas biolgicos o taxonmicos de inters para los usuarios de la revista.Artculos de Revisin. Revisionessobre temas importantes de inters entomolgico que resuman analicen y discutan informaciones ya publicadas y esbocen opciones para investigaciones futuras.Resenciones de libros entomolgicos o con captulos dedicados a la entomologa.Notas necrolgicas de entomlogos que contribuyeron notablemente al conocimiento de esta ciencia.
