Born in the Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bologna CONFLUENZE is a journal of IberoAmerican studies. CONFLUENZE adopts a multidisciplinary perspective based on the encounter of and dialogue among different disciplinary approaches taking into account the different cultures of the IberoAmerican worlds. Confluenze aims to contribute to advancing the IberoAmerican mutual and reciprocal understanding through the production and broad dissemination of research papers in and around the fields of social sciences and humanities from a multidisciplinary point of view. The journal focuses on the IberoAmerican region but welcomes contributions from neighbouring areas such as the Caribbean NorthAmerica and Europe.
