Canadian Family Physician is published by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). The CFPC is the legal certifying body for family medicine in Canada. Founded in 1954, it is a national organization dedicated to improving the health of Canadians by setting high standards of medical education, encouraging research and disseminating the latest medical information. The College has 10 provincial Chapters and sections for teachers, researchers, family physicians with special interests or focused practices, residents and medical students.
