The aim of this journal is the national and international divulgation of the scientific production interesting to the otolaryngology, as well as the discussion, in editorials, of subjects of scientific, academic and professional relevance. Fields of interest: otolaryngology and the associated areas (cranio-maxillo-facial surgery and phoniatrics). Founded as the "Revista Oto-laryngológica de São Paulo" in 1933, the journal was, in the decade of 1950, incorporated to the Brazilian Federation of the Otolaryngology and Broncho-oesophagology Societies
